Proximity ID badges are an excellent tool used by a large number of organizations today. What makes them so great is their ability to be custom programmed in addition to their versatile functionality. However, proximity ID badges cannot be reprogrammed so it’s important to get it right the first time.
Here’s what you need to ensure that your order is effectively and correctly processed from the get go:
- Part Number: An example of the part number would be 1346, 1326, etc..
- The Facility Code: The facility code will be anywhere from 0 to 255. This number signifies where the card holder will be granted access.
- Configuration: The configuration is a five letter code. (Example: MHKLD)
- Format: The format is typically shown as a letter that is followed by a five digit number. (Example: K13678)
